Crowned with success
LES GRAVEURS was founded more than 40 years ago as an engraving company.
In the past years, the company developed from a pure engraving company to an internationally operating company in the fields of automotive badge, emblem production as well as leather embossing and trim parts for the interior and exterior.
Furthermore, the areas of CNC milling and laser texturing and machining were significantly expanded. Here, mainly the medical technology and plastics industry are supplied.
Milestones
Founded in 1978, the company initially focused on the activity of coin and medal production, but was very quickly expanded to include other services such as technical engraving, casting technology and model mold making. Later, innovations in manufacturing followed, such as computer-aided processes and 3D data processing.
In 2001, the company expanded its medal and ingot production by taking over the minting operations of the Heraeus company. In 2009 Tobias Dalacker, the current owner and managing director, took over the company and has been steering it safely on the road to success ever since. Over the years, coin and medal production crystallized more and more as an independent business area.
In 2011, the decision was made to combine this area, including the bars and awards, in a new company - the MünzManufaktur. In the same course, a relaunch of the company LES GRAVEURS took place.
In January 2023, Dach Holding, which also owns LES GRAVEURS, acquires a stake in Fritz Reu GmbH & Co. KG. The participation creates a leading network of internationally operating companies. The group has 3 locations with over 100 employees.
